About Premium-Rx	English (USA)
The objective of the Premium-Rx List is to establish a reliable e-mail link that allows for the exchange of quality technical information regarding Premium-Receivers. The List operates within a set of established guidelines and is limited to qualified members only. The Premium-Rx list is here to serve the selected members of our fraternity in an enjoyable manner in keeping with the collegial spirit of friendship in a framework of technical excellence. Membership in the Premium-Rx List requires the applicant to own, operate, or have an acute interest in a receiver that is classified as Premium-Rx. A "Premium Receiver" will incorporate state-of-the-art design for the period in which it was manufactured, and exhibit the highest levels of quality in components and manufacturing techniques associated with “high-end” specifications. In addition, other receivers of limited production or rarity are considered to be premium, as are certain transceivers that incorporate a premium receiver. High-end receivers contained in transceivers are also acceptable for discussion! The following is a partial list of premium receiver manufactures: CEI, Collins, Cosmos Industries, Cubic, Debeg, Dansk, Daimler, Eddystone/Marconi, Gonset, Harris, Icom, ITT, JRC, Kenwood, McKay/Dymek, Multi-Elmac, National Radio, National Panasonic, Racal, Rohde & Schwarz, Rockwell-Collins, Sait, Siemens, Skanti, Standard, Star, Technical Material, Telefunken, Trio, Watkin-Johnson, Yaesu, etc. Typical posts contain information on: -Performance, alignment, operating techniques and the general discussion of premium receivers. -Accessories, such as antennas, external DSP filters and sync detectors and their use. -A discussion of targets, listening techniques and propagation. -Premium receivers for sale, trade, or wanted (but no promotion of your eBay auction, please offer your item to the list before placing it on eBay). However, if you want to host your item on eBay and offer a special, better price/deal to our members, well, who doesn't love a deal - please proceed! Please remember, large files and pictures are not currently distributed through this list, but we are looking at future options. Also, please do not cross-post this list with other lists as both lists will end up with non-members posting, eating up administrative time. One more thing, please do NOT critique pricing of items for sale on the list... no one likes the "price police." Please be civil and respectful, not venal, vacuous, or venomous. To post a message to all the list members, send email to [email protected]. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Premium-Rx

Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
